Privacy policy

Protecting your personal data is important to me. This policy explains which data is processed when you visit this website and when you get in touch. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Visiting the website

When this website is accessed, the hosting provider’s server automatically stores technical information in log files: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the page visited previously. This data is necessary for the secure operation of the website, is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short period in accordance with the hosting provider’s rules.

Hosting provider: IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Strasse 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The website is operated on servers in the European Union. Under Swiss law, Germany and the EU ensure an adequate level of data protection.

Contact form and email

If you write to me via the contact form or by email, I process the information you provide: name, email address, phone number, type of enquiry and your message. I use this data solely to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a mandate.

The form data is sent to me by email and is not stored in a database on the website. To prevent misuse, an encrypted, non-reversible value derived from your IP address is stored for no more than one hour. If no mandate results, I delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with. If a mandate results, the statutory retention obligations apply.

Cookies and consent

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. On your first visit, a notice asks whether you allow cookies for web analytics and for measuring ads. Without your consent, no Google services are loaded and no Google cookies are set.

Necessary cookie: The cookie «ip_consent» stores your choice («Accept» or «Decline») for six months so that the notice does not appear on every page. The same information is also stored in your browser’s local storage. It contains no personal details.

Cookies with consent: Google Analytics and Google Ads set their own cookies. Details are given in the following sections.

Changing your consent: You can change your choice here at any time. Withdrawal takes effect from that moment; Google’s cookies are deleted.

Fonts and images are loaded directly from this website. No social media plug-ins are used.

Google Analytics

If you have given your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA («Google»). Google Analytics records how the website is used, for example pages viewed, time spent, approximate origin (country, region, city), device, browser and the page through which you reached this website. I use this information only in aggregated form to improve the website and do not draw conclusions about individuals.

For this purpose, Google sets the cookies «_ga» and «_ga_PZ9S2QY62Z», which are stored for up to two years. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. They are used only briefly to determine the approximate location and are then discarded.

The data may be transferred to Google servers in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Under Swiss law, the USA provides an adequate level of data protection for certified companies. For transfers from the EU, the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework applies. Further information can be found in Google’s privacy policy.

You can prevent data collection by choosing «Decline» in the cookie notice, withdrawing your consent in the section «Cookies and consent», blocking cookies in your browser or installing the browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

Google Ads

I run ads via Google Ads, a service provided by Google. If you reach this website through such an ad and have given your consent, it is recorded that you came via the ad and whether you then got in touch, for example through the contact form (a so-called conversion). For this purpose, Google links the information from Google Analytics with my Google Ads account and sets the cookie «_gcl_au», which is stored for up to 90 days. I only see aggregated figures, for example how many enquiries came from an ad, and do not draw conclusions about individuals. Google does not receive the content of your enquiry.

I do not use personalised advertising or remarketing. Your information is not used to show you ads on other websites.

This website uses Google’s consent mode, which tells Google whether you have given your consent. Without consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads are not loaded. For transfers to the USA, the section «Google Analytics» applies.

Disclosure of data

I do not sell your data. Access is limited to the hosting provider and my email provider (also IONOS SE), as far as necessary for technical operation, and to Google for web analytics and ad measurement as described in the sections «Google Analytics» and «Google Ads», if you have given your consent. I do not pass on information from the contact form to third parties.

Data security

The connection to this website is encrypted with TLS. I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.

Legal bases under the GDPR

Where the GDPR applies, I process your data on the following bases: log files and the cookie «ip_consent» on the basis of my legitimate interest in the secure and functioning operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), enquiries via the contact form or by email in order to respond and to prepare a mandate (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR), Google Analytics and Google Ads only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Your rights

You may at any time request information about the data I process about you and ask for it to be corrected, deleted or handed over. You may withdraw any consent given at any time. An informal email to kontakt@igor-pavlovic.com is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Where the GDPR applies, you may also request restriction of processing, object to processing and lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in the EU, in particular in your country of residence.

Changes

I may amend this privacy policy if the website or the legal requirements change. The version published here applies.

Last updated: October 2026. This is a translation. In case of doubt, the German version prevails.
